KT 위즈가 7월 18일 임시 대체 선수로 영입한 로건 앨런과 정식 계약을 체결했다고 발표했다.
위즈는 앨런이 남은 KBO 시즌 동안 42만 5천 달러를 받는다고 밝혔다. 앨런은 6월 12일 부상 선수인 케일럽 보슐리의 대체로 6주 12만 5천 달러 계약으로 팀에 합류했다.
앨런은 위즈에서 5경기 1승 1패 평균자책점 3.33을 기록했다. 위즈 구단주 나도현은 “로건은 팀에 합류한 이후 에이스 역할을 해왔으며 앞으로도 로테이션의 핵심이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
위즈는 7월 18일 기준 49승 35패 1무로 3위에 올라 있으며 5연승 중이다.
