수요일 밤 홍콩 사틴의 한 공공 임대 아파트에서 61세 남성이 아내 및 아들과 교육비 문제로 다투던 중 발코니에서 추락해 사망했다고 경찰이 밝혔다.

경찰은 수요일 오후 9시 42분경 해당 남성의 아들로부터 신고를 받았다. 신고자는 사틴의 공공 주택 단지인 잣 민 춘(Jat Min Chuen) 내 밍 유 하우스(Ming Yiu House)에 거주하는 아버지가 균형을 잃고 발코니에서 추락했다고 진술했다.

소식통에 따르면, 로(Law) 씨 성을 가진 61세 남성은 주방에서 아들과 재정 문제로 언쟁을 벌였다. 이 과정에서 아내가 개입해 몸싸움이 일어났고, 좁은 공간에서 로 씨가 발코니 밖으로 추락한 것으로 알려졌다.

52세인 아내와 21세인 아들은 체포되었다. 예비 조사 결과, 이번 사망 사건은 사고사로 추정되며 현장에서 유서는 발견되지 않았다.
