香港で家族との口論の末、男がアパートから転落死

水曜日の夜、香港の沙田(シャーティン)にある公営住宅で、教育費をめぐって妻や息子と口論になった61歳の男がバルコニーから転落し、死亡した。警察が発表した。

警察は水曜日の午後9時42分、男の息子から通報を受けた。通報者は、父親が沙田の公営住宅「乙明邨(Jat Min Chuen)」にある「明耀楼(Ming Yiu House)」の自宅からバランスを崩して転落したと伝えた。

関係者によると、ロウと名乗る61歳の男は、キッチンで息子と金銭問題について口論になっていた。争いの最中に妻が仲裁に入った際、狭い場所でロウがバルコニーから転落したという。

52歳の妻と21歳の息子は逮捕された。警察の初期捜査では事故死の可能性が高いとみられており、現場から遺書は見つかっていない。
