No sábado, 6 de junho, o grupo parlamentar da Frente Amplio enviou uma carta oficial à Tesorería General de la República. Eles solicitaram detalhes sobre os critérios de renda aplicados nos embargos e retenções. Deputados do partido, incluindo Emilia Schneider, relataram centenas de testemunhos de cobranças que afetaram até mesmo pessoas com baixa renda. Schneider afirmou que deixar alguém sem salário constitui uma imoralidade. A Tesouraria informou que já executou embargos de bens imóveis em Antofagasta, La Araucanía e Los Lagos. As ações se estenderão ao restante do país nos próximos dias. Em abril, as deputadas Emilia Schneider, Constanza Schonhaut e Gael Yeomans apresentaram um projeto de lei. A iniciativa busca proteger devedores com renda mensal inferior a 1,5 milhão de pesos.
