Huduma Kenya itazindua kiwango kipya cha huduma bora kwa wateja

Huduma Kenya imetangaza mipango ya kuongeza kasi ya utoaji wa Kiwango cha Ubora wa Huduma kwa Wateja katika taasisi za umma ili kuboresha ufanisi na uwajibikaji. Msimamizi Mkuu Ben Kai Chilumo amesema kiwango hiki kitabadilisha mwingiliano kati ya wananchi na huduma za serikali.

Huduma Kenya, tarehe 27 Machi 2026, ilitangaza mipango ya kuongeza kasi ya utoaji wa Kiwango cha Ubora wa Huduma kwa Wateja katika taasisi za umma. Tangazo hili lilitolewa katika Mkutano wa 5 wa Ubora wa Mikoa uliofanyika Mombasa, ambapo viongozi na wataalamu wa huduma walijadili ubunifu katika huduma za umma.

“Kiwango, mara tu kitakapotolewa katika mashirika ya serikali, kitapunguza utoaji wa huduma, kuboresha uzoefu wa wateja, na kujenga imani katika taasisi za umma,” tangazo lilifuatilia.

Ben Kai Chilumo, Msimamizi Mkuu wa Huduma Kenya, alisema kuwa hatua hii haitakuwa tu kuhusu viwango vya ubora bali pia itazingatia kubadilisha jinsi wananchi wanavyoshirikiana na huduma za serikali. Kiwango hiki kinakusudia kushughulikia malalamiko ya muda mrefu kama nyakati ndefu za kusubiri, ucheleweshaji wa hati, vibaya vya utawala, ukosefu wa utaratibu, na ufisadi ambapo rushwa inaombwa.

Kulingana na Chilumo, utekelezaji wake utapunguza ucheleweshaji, kuongeza uwazi, na kurejesha imani ya umma. Hii inajenga juhudi za awali za Huduma Kenya kufanya huduma za serikali ziwe sawa nchini na muda unaotabirika wa kutoa huduma.
