Familia moja ya Kasarini, Kaunti ya Kiambu, inatafuta msaada baada ya kudai maafisa wakuu wenye uhusiano na serikali wanajaribu kunyakua shamba lao la ekari 248. Wanadai kuwa watu wasiojulikana wameanza kufuatilia na kuwashambulia ardhi yao mara kadhaa hivi karibuni. Wanahitaji Wizara ya Ardhi iverifike hati miliki yao.

Familia hiyo inasema wameishi kwenye shamba hilo tangu 1976 baada ya kulirithi. Wanadai wavamizi wameharibu mali na kuweka ua ili kugawanya shamba hilo.

" tunaamini kuna goons zinazotaka kuchukua ardhi yetu. Zimekuja mara nyingi kwa magari tofauti kutisha. Tunaishi kwa hofu, hatujui kama tutashambuliwa. Tayari wameiba shamba," alisema mwanachama wa familia.

Wanadai wavamizi wanasema wanafanya kwa niaba ya watu wenye uhusiano na serikali. "Ninawahimu Wizara ya Ardhi iingilie kati na ionyeshe nani mmiliki wa hati miliki. Itadhihirika kama walipata kwa kukiuka sheria," aliongeza mwanachama mwingine.

"Una ardhi yako na hati yako. Kisha mtu akaunda faili tofauti na namba usajili tofauti na anadai umiliki. Ni udanganyifu kwa mwangaza wa siku," alisema Wakili Duncan Okatch.

Familia inahofia kuongezeka kwa migogoro kama mamlaka hazitaingilia kati haraka.
