Waziri wa Usalama wa Ndani Kipchumba Murkomen ametangaza kupeleka kikosi maalum cha polisi Bonde la Kerio kuimarisha msako dhidi ya pombe haramu. Ameonya maafisa wanaoshirikiana na biashara hiyo watachukuliwa hatua za kinidhamu. Tangazo hili lilitolewa Metkei, Keiyo Kusini.

Waziri Kipchumba Murkomen alizungumza Metkei, Keiyo Kusini, akionya hatua kali dhidi ya maafisa wa serikali na walinzi wa usalama wanaoshirikiana na biashara za pombe haramu.

“Serikali haitalegeza msimamo wake katika vita dhidi ya pombe haramu, hata kama itabidi kupeleka kikosi maalum kuwasaka wahusika,” alisema Murkomen.

Mpango huu unalenga kuimarisha msako Bonde la Kerio dhidi ya utengenezaji na matumizi ya pombe haramu. Waziri ameonya afisa wa utawala anayeshukiwa kuhimiza ulevi atachukuliwa hatua za kinidhamu.
