President Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive in China on Wednesday evening for meetings with President Xi Jinping. The visit will focus on trade, security issues, and other bilateral concerns.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly outlined the itinerary during a Sunday call with reporters. Trump will participate in a welcome ceremony and bilateral meeting with Xi on Thursday morning, followed by a tour of the Temple of Heaven and a state banquet that evening. On Friday morning, the leaders will hold a bilateral tea and working lunch before Trump returns home.
