የመካከለኛው ኢትዮጵያ ክልል ርዕሰ መስተዳድር እንዳሻው ጣሰው በምስራቅ ጉራጌ ዞን የሲቢስቶ አነስተኛ የመስኖ ፕሮጀክትን ተመርቀዋል። ፕሮጀክቱ ከ56 ሚሊየን ብር በላይ ወጪ ተደርጓል።
በደቡብ ሶዶ ወረዳ የተገነባው ይህ ፕሮጀክት 175 ሄክታር መሬት የማልማት አቅም ያለው ሲሆን 700 አባወራዎችን በቀጥታ ይጠቅማል።
እንዳሻው ጣሰው አካባቢው ከመደበኛ ሰብል ልማት በተጨማሪ በአትክልትና ፍራፍሬ ልማት የሚታወቅ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። የመስኖ ተቋማትን በማስፋት የወጣቶችን ተጠቃሚነት ለማረጋገጥ ትኩረት እንደሚደረግ አመልክተዋል።
የገጠር ልማት ክላስተር አስተባባሪ ኡስማን ስሩር መንግሥት ሕዝቡን ከድህነት ለማውጣት የልማት እሳቤዎችን እየተገበረ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል። ፕሮጀክቱ አርሶ አደሩ ትርፍ አምራች እንዲሆን ይረዳል ተብሏል።
