እርሳቸው እንደገለጹት የክልሉ ገቢ በ2010 ዓመት 790 ሚሊየን ብር ከነበረበት ወደ 8 ቢሊየን ብር አድጓል። የእርሻ ልማትም ከ53 ሺህ ሄክታር ወደ 138 ሺህ ሄክታር ከፍ ብሏል።
በተጨማሪም የስንዴ ልማት ከ16 ሺህ 500 ሄክታር በላይ በመዳረስ 276 ሺህ ኩንታል ምርት መሰብሰቡን አመልክተዋል። አንድ ማዕከል አገልግሎት ማዕከል ደግሞ ወደ ስራ መግባቱን ጠቁመዋል።
