በደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል የአረንጓዴ ዐሻራ መርሐ ግብር ስር በዘንድሮው ክረምት ከ300 ሚሊየን በላይ ችግኞችን ለመትከል ዝግጅት እየተደረገ ነው። የክልሉ ርዕሰ መስተዳድር ጽ/ቤት በ1 ሺህ 201 ችግኝ ጣቢያዎች ላይ ሥራ እየተከናወነ መሆኑን አስታውቋል።
የክልሉ ባለስልጣናት መርሐ ግብሩ የተፈጥሮ ሚዛንን ለመጠበቅ እና ምርታማነትን ለማሳደግ ያለመ መሆኑን ተናግረዋል። ሕብረተሰቡን በማሳተፍ የተራቆተ ሥነ ምሕዳርን ለማገገም ጥረት እየተደረገ ነው።
በቅድመ ዝግጅት ደረጃ የፍራፍሬ፣ የጥምር ደን እና ሌሎች የምግብ ዋስትናን የሚያጠናክሩ ችግኞች በመጠናቀቅ ላይ ናቸው። ይህ ተግባር በበልግ ከተከናወነው ተከላ በተጨማሪ ነው።
