DMRC kooperiert mit Airtel zur Einführung von offenen NCMC-Karten

Die Delhi Metro Rail Corporation hat in Zusammenarbeit mit der Airtel Payments Bank Co-Branded-Open-Loop-National-Common-Mobility-Karten eingeführt.

Die neuen RuPay-„On-The-Go“-NCMC-Karten sollen die älteren geschlossenen Smartcards ersetzen, die die DMRC im Jahr 2020 eingeführt hatte. Diese Open-Loop-Karten ermöglichen Zahlungen in verschiedenen Verkehrssystemen, einschließlich U-Bahnen und Bussen im ganzen Land. DMRC-Geschäftsführer Vikas Kumar erklärte, dass die Debit- und PPI-MTS-Karten es Pendlern ermöglichen werden, eine einzige Karte für Reisen in verschiedenen Städten zu nutzen. Ältere Smartcards bleiben weiterhin gültig, werden jedoch nicht mehr verkauft. Die Karten werden innerhalb der nächsten 10 Tage an allen DMRC-Stationen erhältlich sein. Pendler können sie zudem digital über die DMRC-App oder die Airtel-App aufladen.
