DMRC se asocia con Airtel para lanzar tarjetas NCMC de bucle abierto

La Delhi Metro Rail Corporation ha introducido tarjetas National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) de bucle abierto bajo marca compartida en colaboración con Airtel Payments Bank.

Las nuevas tarjetas NCMC RuPay 'On-The-Go' buscan reemplazar las antiguas tarjetas inteligentes de bucle cerrado que la DMRC introdujo en 2020. Estas tarjetas de bucle abierto permiten realizar pagos en múltiples sistemas de transporte, incluyendo metros y autobuses en todo el país.

El director general de DMRC, Vikas Kumar, declaró que las tarjetas de débito y PPI-MTS permitirán a los viajeros utilizar una única tarjeta para desplazarse en diversas ciudades. Las antiguas tarjetas inteligentes siguen siendo válidas, pero ya no están a la venta.

Las tarjetas estarán disponibles en todas las estaciones de la DMRC en los próximos 10 días. Los viajeros también pueden recargarlas de forma digital a través de la aplicación de la DMRC o la aplicación de Airtel.
