Alinea Analytics schätzt, dass etwa 30 Prozent der Verkäufe aus dem 48-stündigen Vorabzugang für Käufer der Deluxe-Edition stammen. Das Unternehmen merkt an, dass Saros am 29. April mit rund 43.000 täglichen Spielern startete und am 2. Mai einen Höchststand von fast 142.000 erreichte. Die Abschlussrate liegt bei 20 Prozent und damit doppelt so hoch wie der Wert, der für Returnal zum gleichen Zeitpunkt seines Lebenszyklus verzeichnet wurde.
