Sithembiso Ngema wurde auf dem Provinzparteitag der Democratic Alliance in Durban zum neuen Provinzvorsitzenden in KwaZulu-Natal gewählt. Ngema löst den scheidenden Vorsitzenden Francois Rodgers ab. Zuvor war er als stellvertretender Provinzvorsitzender sowie als Mitglied der DA in der Gemeinde eThekwini tätig. Am 28. September 2023 wurde Ngema als Mitglied der Legislative von KwaZulu-Natal vereidigt. Dean Macpherson wurde als Provinzvorsitzender wiedergewählt. Martin Meyer wurde zum stellvertretenden Provinzvorsitzenden gewählt. Zudem wählte die Partei Sandile Mnikathi zum ersten stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden, Sakhile Mngadi zum zweiten stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden und Swelakhe Shelembe zum dritten stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden.
