Cámara aprueba prórroga de 30 días del estado de excepción en Macrozona Sur

La Cámara de Diputados aprobó la prórroga con 112 votos a favor, 20 en contra y 11 abstenciones. La iniciativa, solicitada por el Presidente José Antonio Kast, pasa ahora al Senado para su revisión este martes.

El ministro del Interior, Claudio Alvarado, anunció un proyecto de ley para ampliar facultades de las Fuerzas Armadas durante estos estados. Esto incluye controles de identidad preventivos, registros de vestimentas y vehículos, y detenciones en flagrancia.

Alvarado también informó que el gobierno reactivará con urgencia el proyecto de reparación a víctimas de violencia rural heredado de la administración anterior. Se destinarán 6.000 millones de pesos en programas de apoyo económico y acompañamiento.

El ministro destacó una reducción del 80% en eventos de violencia desde el peak de 2023. Además, se evalúa un mando militar unificado para la Macrozona Sur.
