La compraventa de viviendas cae un 11,2 % en el primer trimestre de 2026

Las operaciones de compraventa de viviendas descendieron un 11,2 % interanual hasta 163.322 en el primer trimestre de 2026, según datos del Ministerio de Vivienda y Agenda Urbana.

El Ministerio de Vivienda y Agenda Urbana informó que las transacciones alcanzaron la menor cifra para este periodo desde 2024. Las viviendas libres sumaron 159.317 operaciones, un 11 % menos que el año anterior, mientras que las protegidas registraron 4.005, un 20,4 % inferior.

En comparación con el trimestre anterior, la caída fue del 18,4 %. Las ventas de vivienda usada bajaron un 10,9 % interanual y las de obra nueva un 12,2 %.

En 2025 se cerraron 752.098 compraventas, la mayor cifra desde 2007. Los datos del primer trimestre de 2026 se sitúan un 35 % por debajo del máximo histórico registrado en 2006.
