Marathon director Joe Ziegler leaves Bungie studio

Joe Ziegler has departed Bungie after serving as director of Marathon for three and a half years. He announced his exit on Twitter, with his final day at the studio being July 17.

Ziegler stated that he was passing the role of game director to Del Chafe III, who will work alongside creative director Julia Nardin. He described both as ready to lead the project into its next phase.

In his post, Ziegler thanked the community and Bungie colleagues. He noted plans to pursue new opportunities and invited followers to join him in future projects.
