México revela lista de extradiciones rechazadas por eu

El gobierno de Claudia Sheinbaum presentó una lista de solicitudes de extradición rechazadas o estancadas por Estados Unidos desde 2018.

En la mañanera del 18 de mayo, el secretario de Relaciones Exteriores Roberto Velasco informó que México presentó 269 solicitudes de detención provisional con fines de extradición a Estados Unidos entre 2018 y la fecha.

Ninguna se concretó. Treinta y seis fueron rechazadas y en 47 casos se pidió información adicional.

Entre los casos destacados figuran el exgobernador Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, solicitado el 8 de agosto de 2025, y Víctor Manuel Álvarez Puga, pareja de Inés Gómez Mont, rechazado por no tratarse de un delito violento.

También se mencionaron Rafael Zaga Tawil y Elías Zaga Hanono por fraude al Infonavit, así como José Ulises Bernabé García y Pablo Vega Cuevas, alias ‘El Transformer’, vinculados al caso Ayotzinapa.

La presidenta Sheinbaum pidió reciprocidad en el trato de las solicitudes.
