Los Moderados proponen facilitar la conversión de viviendas de alquiler

El Partido Moderado presentó una propuesta en la Järvaveckan para dar a los inquilinos mayores oportunidades de comprar sus viviendas municipales.

El ministro de Cooperación para el Desarrollo y Comercio Exterior, Benjamin Dousa (M), describió la propuesta como "un movimiento de vivienda propia para los suburbios" durante su discurso en Spånga, al noroeste de Estocolmo.

– Los residentes de los suburbios que hoy viven en viviendas públicas municipales deben tener una oportunidad ampliada de comprar su hogar. Queremos dar a más personas la posibilidad de ser propietarias de su vivienda, sentir responsabilidad, libertad y seguridad, afirma Dousa.

La propuesta, denominada "derecho a comprar", implica que al menos dos tercios de los inquilinos puedan votar para adquirir la propiedad. Los propietarios municipales estarían entonces obligados a vender, a diferencia del requisito actual de obtener la aprobación del arrendador.
