Pintura robada por nazis hallada en Mar del Plata

Un informe de la DAIA confirmó que el “Retrato de una dama” de Giacomo Ceruti, robado por los nazis en 1940, estaba en una residencia de Mar del Plata.

La pintura formó parte de la colección de Jacques Goudstikker hasta que fue expropiada en julio de 1940. Friedrich Kadgien, funcionario del Ministerio de Finanzas del Reich, la adquirió y la llevó a Argentina tras la guerra.

Kadgien falleció en 1964 y el óleo quedó en poder de su hija y su yerno en Mar del Plata. En agosto de 2025, periodistas del diario neerlandés Algemeen Dagblad lo identificaron en un aviso inmobiliario.

Expertos de la Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes verificaron que la obra, atribuida antes a Giuseppe Ghislandi, es de Giacomo Ceruti, nacido en Milán en 1698. La DAIA presentó un informe técnico-histórico sobre la restitución de bienes culturales expoliados.
