Pintura saqueada pelos nazistas é encontrada em Mar del Plata

Um relatório da DAIA confirmou que a obra "Retrato de uma dama", de Giacomo Ceruti, saqueada pelos nazistas em 1940, estava guardada em uma residência em Mar del Plata.

A pintura pertenceu à coleção de Jacques Goudstikker até ser expropriada em julho de 1940. Friedrich Kadgien, um funcionário do Ministério das Finanças do Reich, adquiriu a obra e a levou para a Argentina após a guerra.

Kadgien faleceu em 1964 e a pintura a óleo permaneceu com sua filha e seu genro em Mar del Plata. Em agosto de 2025, jornalistas do jornal holandês Algemeen Dagblad a identificaram em um anúncio imobiliário.

Especialistas da Academia Nacional de Belas Artes verificaram que a obra, anteriormente atribuída a Giuseppe Ghislandi, é de autoria de Giacomo Ceruti, nascido em Milão em 1698. A DAIA apresentou um relatório técnico-histórico sobre a restituição de bens culturais saqueados pelos nazistas.
