Naglabas ng show cause order ang LTFRB laban sa operator ng taxi na nag-overcharge kay Soobin

Naglabas ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ng show cause order laban sa operator ng taxi na sinasabing nag-overcharge sa Korean singer na si Soobin sa Cebu. Ayon kay LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza, malubhang paglabag ito na nakakababa sa imahe ng bansa. Pinag-utos din ang pag-surrender ng plaka ng sasakyan at lisensya ng drayber.

Naganap ang insidente sa vlog ni Soobin, leader ng Tomorrow X Together, sa Cebu. Sabi ni Soobin, dapat P300 lamang ang pamasahe, ngunit itinaas ng drayber sa P500 dahil sa mataas na presyo ng gasolina, at pagdating sa destinasyon, tinaas pa sa P1,000.

Tumanggi si Soobin at sinabing ire-report niya ito. "This is a serious offense especially that this incident puts the name of our country in bad light in the international community. The viral video itself is already strong evidence," pahayag ni Mendoza.
