原油価格の上昇に伴いビットコインと金の相関性が強まる

6月30日までのデータによると、ビットコインは主要株価指数との結びつきを弱め、金や銀との関連性を強めて第3四半期を迎えた。

コインベース・インスティテューショナルとグラスノードの共同レポートによると、ビットコインとS&P 500の相関係数は、2025年第4四半期の0.58から第2四半期には0.12まで低下した。ナスダックとの相関係数は0.21だった一方、金とは0.57、銀とは0.63に達した。

この変化により、ビットコインは実質利回りや米ドル、米連邦準備制度理事会(FRB)の政策との連動がより強まっている。FRBは7月28日から29日にかけて会合を予定しており、マイクロソフト、メタ、アマゾンの決算発表も7月下旬に控えている。

7月24日時点で1バレル96ドル近辺で推移する原油価格は、米エネルギー情報局(EIA)が第3四半期に予測していた74ドルの基本シナリオとは対照的な状況となっている。分析によれば、原油価格の高騰はインフレ圧力を長引かせ、利回りを押し上げる可能性がある。

米国の現物ビットコインETFは、7月22日までの7日間で10億ドル近くの純流入を記録したが、7月23日には2億2500万ドルの純流出となった。ビットコインは過去24時間で0.37パーセント上昇して取引されている。
