사업회 측은 포스터를 삭제하고 프로그램을 취소하기로 결정했다. 초기 보도에서는 사업회 관계자가 비판적 분석을 위한 것이라고 해명하며 프로그램을 진행할 계획이라고 밝혔으나, 국방부 입장 발표 이후 취소로 정리됐다.
