이재명 대통령이 월요일 청와대에서 반도체, 물리 AI, AI 데이터센터 분야에 대한 대규모 투자 계획을 발표할 예정이다.
대통령실에 따르면 이번 발표는 오후 2시 청와대에서 열리는 브리핑에서 진행된다. 계획에는 삼성전자 이재용 회장과 SK그룹 최태원 회장이 참여해 대규모 투자를 발표할 것으로 예상된다.
투자 규모는 10년간 최대 1천조 원에 달할 수 있으며, 특히 전남 호남 지역에 대규모 반도체 생산 클러스터가 포함될 가능성이 있다. 충청과 영남 지역도 투자 대상에 포함된다.
야당인 국민의힘은 이번 계획이 정치적 동기가 있다고 비판했다. 반면 구윤철 기획재정부 장관은 지역 투자 지원을 약속하며 정부가 전력과 용수 공급 등에 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.
