이 대통령은 첨단 기술 분야에서 '절대 경쟁력'을 확보하기 위해 정부와 민간 자원을 모두 동원하겠다고 밝혔다. 그는 "모든 정부와 민간 부문 자원을 동원해 첨단 기술 분야에서 절대 경쟁력을 확보할 것"이라고 말했다.
대통령실은 행사 슬로건을 '대체할 수 없는 대한민국'으로 정했다고 전했다. 이 대통령은 대규모 투자 프로젝트를 곧 발표할 예정이라고 덧붙였다.
기자회견에는 국내외 언론사 기자 약 160명이 참석했다. 이는 2025년 6월 4일 취임 이후 네 번째 기자회견이다.
