이재명 대통령은 월요일 반도체 붐으로 인한 추가 세수를 활용해 미래 산업과 청년 세대를 위한 '미래대응기금'을 조성하겠다고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 국가 재정 전략 회의에서 이 같은 계획을 발표했다. 그는 "대규모 추가 세수를 미래를 준비하는 전략적 재원으로 활용할 것"이라고 말했다.
기금은 미래 산업 투자, 청년 정책, 지역 개발, 교육 등에 사용될 예정이다. 정부는 이달 초 발표한 '3대 메가프로젝트'도 예정대로 추진하기로 했다.
이 대통령은 AI 시대에 사회 안전망을 강화하고, 전력 요금제를 수요에 따라 차등 적용하는 방안도 제안했다. 단, 국민 부담이 늘지 않는 조건에서 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.
