Acafi apresenta propostas para impulsionar o capital de risco no Chile

A Associação Chilena de Administradores de Fundos de Investimento entregou um diagnóstico e sugestões à Bancada das Startups para reduzir barreiras na indústria de capital de risco.

Há algumas semanas, a Acafi apresentou quatro medidas principais aos legisladores da Bancada das Startups na Câmara dos Deputados. Estas incluem a criação de um fundo de fundos público-privado, a revisão da carga tributária para alcançar a neutralidade fiscal, maior flexibilidade para que os fundos de pensão invistam em capital de risco e a modernização da Lei de P&D.

Cristóbal Silva, presidente da comissão de Capital de Risco da Acafi, afirmou que os fundos de pensão enfrentam requisitos regulatórios que são praticamente impossíveis de cumprir. “Infelizmente, os fundos de pensão têm opções muito limitadas em capital de risco”, declarou.

Silva lembrou que o Chile perdeu a liderança regional para o México, que multiplicou sua indústria por cinco após implementar um fundo de fundos. Ele enfatizou que as propostas buscam apenas igualar os padrões internacionais, sem solicitar subsídios especiais.
