Leilão adiciona 4.069 MW ao sistema elétrico da Colômbia a partir de dezembro de 2026

O leilão de obrigações de energia firme realizado em 22 de maio de 2026 designou 4.069,7 MW de nova capacidade para a rede nacional da Colômbia com início em dezembro de 2026.

A XM, operadora do mercado de eletricidade, anunciou os resultados no dia 23 de maio. Oitenta e cinco usinas participaram e 77 receberam designações, incluindo 15 novas plantas e uma planta existente com obras.

A capacidade provém principalmente de usinas térmicas com 2.276,8 MW, seguidas pela solar com 1.546,9 MW e eólica com 246 MW. As principais regiões são Magdalena com 2.336 MW, Santander com 521,8 MW, e Guajira e Cesar com 426 MW.

Os preços de fechamento foram de US$ 16,4/MWh para usinas com maiores custos variáveis e US$ 22/MWh para as menores, conforme a resolução 101 066 de 2024 da Creg. O leilão foi convocado pela Creg por meio da Resolução 101 079 de 2025.
