Petrobras aprova investimento de US$ 1,2 bilhão em Cubatão

O conselho de administração da Petrobras aprovou nesta sexta-feira investimento de US$ 1,2 bilhão para produzir combustíveis renováveis na refinaria de Cubatão, em São Paulo.

O projeto inclui uma planta com capacidade de até 15 mil barris por dia de bioQAV e diesel renovável. A entrada em operação está prevista para 2030, com obras programadas para começar ainda este ano.

A decisão faz parte do plano de negócios da estatal para 2026-2030, que tem orçamento total de US$ 109 bilhões. Desse valor, US$ 4,8 bilhões serão destinados a bioprodutos.

A empresa afirmou que o projeto apoia a transição energética justa e as metas globais do setor de aviação. O bioQAV ajudará a cumprir o programa Combustível do Futuro para descarbonização do transporte aéreo brasileiro.
