Typhoon Kiyapo exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility early Saturday morning while still affecting northern Luzon.

According to PAGASA, Kiyapo exited the PAR at around 2 to 3 a.m. on July 25. It was located 320 kilometers west of Basco, Batanes, moving west-northwest at 25 kilometers per hour.

The typhoon has maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 150 kilometers per hour. It is the Philippines’ 11th tropical cyclone for 2026.

Signal No. 1 remains raised over Batanes, the western portion of Babuyan Islands, northwestern mainland Cagayan, northern Apayao and Ilocos Norte. It is expected to strengthen further before landfall in China.
