Leiter der BGN fordert lokale Versorgung für kostenloses Ernährungsprogramm

Der Leiter der Nationalen Ernährungsagentur, Dadan Hindayana, betonte, dass das Programm für kostenlose nahrhafte Mahlzeiten lokale Lebensmittelprodukte priorisieren müsse. Ziel der Maßnahme ist es, die lokalen Wirtschaften in den Regionen zu unterstützen.

Dadan Hindayana wies alle Einheiten für die Erfüllung der Ernährungsdienste an, Eier- und Lebensmittellieferungen von lokalen Erzeugern und Unternehmen zu priorisieren. Diese Richtlinie steht im Einklang mit der Anweisung von Präsident Prabowo Subianto, die für das Programm eine inländische Produktion von Eiern vorsieht.

Laut Dadan legt die Nationale Ernährungsagentur kein einheitliches nationales Menü fest. Stattdessen werden Standards für die Nährstoffzusammensetzung festgelegt und Ernährungsexperten in jeder Küche eingesetzt, um Menüs basierend auf dem lokalen Lebensmittelpotenzial zu gestalten.

Das Programm ist darauf ausgelegt, ein Viertel bis ein Drittel des täglichen Nährstoffbedarfs von Kindern zu decken. Daten von RISED zeigen, dass 81 Prozent der gefährdeten Familien die Fortsetzung des Programms unterstützen.
