Parlament erhält Haushaltsentwurf über Rekordsumme von 2,34 Billionen Birr

Die Bundesregierung hat am 11. Juni 2026 ihren bisher größten Haushaltsentwurf im Parlament vorgelegt. Der Plan sieht durchschnittliche Ausgaben von 107 Dollar pro Person vor.

Finanzminister Ahmed Shide präsentierte dem Parlament am Donnerstag, den 11. Juni 2026, den Haushaltsplan in Höhe von 2,34 Billionen Birr.

Dies entspricht 107 Dollar pro Kopf und liegt damit sechsmal unter dem Wert Kenias (632 Dollar) sowie hinter Uganda (488 Dollar), Tansania (335 Dollar) und Burundi (156 Dollar).

Der Haushalt deckt eine große Bevölkerung ab, bei der die individuelle öffentliche Kaufkraft weiterhin bescheiden bleibt.
