Gobierno autoriza aumento a 46 slots por hora en el AICM

El gobierno federal ha aprobado elevar la capacidad del Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM) de 44 a 46 operaciones por hora a partir de la temporada de invierno 2026. La medida depende de la disponibilidad de tres nuevas calles de rodaje en la pista 05 derecha. Esta autorización revierte decretos previos del expresidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

El Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM), administrado por la Marina, informó que la autoridad aeronáutica determinó la viabilidad del aumento tras analizar un estudio de Servicios a la Navegación en el Espacio Aéreo Mexicano (SENEAM), conforme al artículo 94 del Reglamento de la Ley de Aeropuertos.

La primera calle de rodaje de salida rápida ya está concluida, la segunda se terminará en la segunda quincena de mayo y la tercera a finales de 2026. El AICM precisó que esta medida es temporal para los periodos de verano e invierno 2026, con posibilidad de aplicarse en temporadas posteriores. El resolutivo instruye al concesionario a adoptar medidas para garantizar la óptima operación y el servicio público.

Esta decisión del gobierno de Claudia Sheinbaum busca recuperar la capacidad del principal aeropuerto del país. Tras publicar el comunicado, el AICM lo eliminó por instrucciones de su dirección general.
