L'animateur du podcast Sacred Symbols, Colin Moriarty, a brièvement perdu l'accès à son compte PlayStation Network malgré l'authentification à deux facteurs. L'incident est survenu après qu'il a reçu un message d'avertissement concernant une attaque imminente.

Moriarty, ancien rédacteur chez IGN et cofondateur de Kinda Funny Games, a publié sur X le 18 mai que son compte avait été piraté dans le cadre d'une série d'attaques visant des utilisateurs aussi bien anonymes que connus. Il a noté que le compte a été utilisé pour envoyer un message menaçant à un collègue podcasteur, Dustin Furman, indiquant « Tu es le prochain ». Sony a initialement estimé un délai de récupération allant jusqu'à trois semaines, mais a rétabli l'accès plus rapidement après que Moriarty a contacté des relations internes au sein de l'entreprise.
