The research draws on data from more than 11,000 participants and links positive age beliefs to these gains. It challenges the view that aging always involves decline.

By applying the theory of entropy to tourism, they argue it supports the body's balance and resilience. The findings appear in a 2024 study published in the Journal of Travel Research.

A major international study of more than 214,000 older adults shows that modifiable dementia risk factors differ significantly by country. The research, led by the University of Southern California, indicates that prevention strategies must be tailored to local conditions rather than applied uniformly worldwide.
