Carboneras anula licença do Algarrobico após ordem judicial

A prefeitura de Carboneras aprovou a anulação da licença de construção do hotel Algarrobico. A decisão cumpre uma ordem do Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Andalucía emitida em 24 de junho.

A sessão plenária extraordinária de 7 de julho aprovou a anulação da licença de construção de 2003 por sete votos a favor. O hotel está localizado dentro do Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata. Quatro vereadores estavam ausentes durante a votação.

O prefeito Salvador Hernández solicitou apoio à Junta de Andalucía e ao governo central para avançar em direção à demolição. A empresa Azata del Sol tem dois meses para recorrer ao tribunal contencioso-administrativo.

A conselheira regional interina de desenvolvimento, Rocío Díaz, anunciou que a Junta iniciará imediatamente os trabalhos técnicos para a restauração ambiental. O Greenpeace solicitará ao tribunal a ordem de demolição imediata do edifício.
