Ilhabela cobra 6.295 veículos por taxa ambiental não paga

A Prefeitura de Ilhabela tenta cobrar taxas de preservação ambiental não pagas por quase 6.300 veículos que deixaram o arquipélago desde março.

Até a última sexta-feira, 6.295 veículos estavam inadimplentes, sujeitos a multa de R$ 100 a partir do 31º dia após a passagem. Desde o início da cobrança da taxa em 31 de março, 164.319 veículos cruzaram os pórticos eletrônicos.

O sistema opera sem cabines físicas, com leitura de placas ou tags para pagamento por Pix, boleto ou aplicativo. Veículos registrados em Ilhabela e São Sebastião são isentos automaticamente.

A taxa foi suspensa anteriormente pelo Tribunal de Contas do Estado e retomada após nova licitação. Os recursos arrecadados serão usados em preservação ambiental, infraestrutura e serviços públicos.
