Steam nekar visuell roman på grund av innehållsfrågor

Steam har nekat den kommande japanska skräck-visuella romanen This Game Is Not Real från sin plattform. Utvecklaren Viv meddelade förändringen efter att spelet inte uppfyllt Valves distributionskriterier. Titeln hade samlat på sig 24 000 önskelistor sedan dess butikssida lanserades i augusti 2025.

Indieteamet bakom spelet, känt som Viv, uppgav den 13 maj att de skulle flytta utgivningsplanerna till DLsite och BOOTH. Utvecklaren Bibu noterade att beslutet följde på Steams bedömning att projektet inte uppfyllde plattformens standarder. Spelet var ursprungligen planerat för utgivning på Steam denna månad.
