ዓላማው የኢትዮጵያን የመረጃ አያያዝ እና አጠቃቀም ለሀገራዊ ልማት ማጠናከር ነው። ከያልተቀናጀ ሥርዓት ወደ ተቀናጀ ዲጂታል እና ቀዳሚ የመረጃ ሥነ ምህዳር የተደረገውን ሽግግር ያሳያል።
ከጉባኤው ጎን ለጎን የዳታ አብዮት እና የዲጂታል ዘመናዊነት ሥራዎችን የሚያሳይ ኤግዚቢሽን ይከፈታል። ጉባኤው "አንድ ዕቅድ፣ አንድ ሪፖርት፣ አንድ በጀት" የሚለውን የተቀናጀ አሠራር ለማስፈን መሠረት ይጥላል።
