María Pía Silva Gallinato wird ihr Amt als Präsidentin am 10. Juli 2026 antreten. Sie folgt auf Daniela Marzi, die den Posten seit 2024 innehatte. Die Wahl erfolgte mit absoluter Mehrheit der Plenumsmitglieder. Silva Gallinato wird das Gericht bis zum Ende ihrer Amtszeit leiten, während Lagos Tschorne den verbleibenden Zeitraum bis zum 10. Juli 2028 übernimmt. Silva Gallinato trat dem Gericht im Juni 2018 nach einer Auswahl durch den Obersten Gerichtshof bei. Lagos Tschorne trat ihr Amt im Januar 2024 nach der Ratifizierung durch den Senat an.
