Quiroz vermeidet konkrete Zusagen zu Änderungen an der Megareform

Finanzminister Jorge Quiroz relativierte die Aussagen seines Kollegen José García Ruminot zu möglichen Anpassungen am Nationalen Wiederaufbauplan inmitten interner Spannungen innerhalb der Regierungskoalition.

Am Mittwoch erklärte García Ruminot in einem Podcast, dass Anpassungen an der Initiative vorgenommen werden müssten, darunter eine Verkürzung der Steuerinvariabilität von 25 auf 20 Jahre sowie Änderungen am Beschäftigungskredit. Am Donnerstagmorgen entgegnete Quiroz, dass es sich um diese oder andere Maßnahmen handeln könne, oder auch um gar keine, und bekräftigte die Dialogbereitschaft der Regierung, ohne jedoch konkrete Definitionen voranzutreiben. García Ruminot gab daraufhin eine Stellungnahme ab, in der er die Notwendigkeit betonte, das Projekt voranzubringen, während ein internes Regierungsdokument die Prüfung von Anpassungen aufgrund des angespannten fiskalischen Szenarios unterstützte. Senatorin María José Gatica kritisierte den Umgang von Quiroz und forderte, dass García Ruminot die Verhandlungen leiten solle, während Senator Sergio Gahona zur Aufrechterhaltung der Koordination zwischen den Ministern aufrief.
