Don't Nod advierte de una falta de liquidez para noviembre

El estudio francés Don't Nod ha revelado que podría quedarse sin dinero para noviembre si no obtiene nueva financiación para su próximo proyecto.

La desarrolladora detrás de Life is Strange y Aphelion informó de unas reservas de efectivo de 8,8 millones de euros a fecha de abril. Su copropietario Tencent, que posee una participación del 42 por ciento desde 2021, ha declinado apoyar el próximo juego del estudio o aumentar su inversión. El presidente del estudio, Oskar Guilbert, señaló que la dirección ha buscado compromisos de otras editoras sin éxito hasta el momento. La empresa está reduciendo la escala de Project P14, su próximo título, que podría lanzarse antes con un alcance menor. La junta directiva de Don't Nod se reunirá el 17 de junio para considerar sus opciones. El estudio recortó previamente su plantilla en Montreal en 2025 y anunció despidos en 2024 tras el bajo rendimiento de juegos como Jusant.
