Intellia annonce des résultats solides pour son traitement contre l'angio-œdème héréditaire en phase III

Intellia Therapeutics a présenté les résultats préliminaires de son étude de phase III HALO concernant l'angio-œdème héréditaire (AOH) lors de la conférence Bank of America Global Healthcare le 12 mai. Les résultats ont démontré des bénéfices cliniques substantiels pour les patients atteints de cette pathologie.

Le directeur financier Edward Dulac a qualifié ces conclusions de très encourageantes au cours de la session. Tous les patients ont obtenu un bénéfice clinique significatif, 62 pour cent d'entre eux ne présentant aucune crise ni nécessitant de traitement à la fin de la période d'observation primaire de 28 semaines. Les réductions du taux de crises ont atteint une fourchette élevée proche de 90 pour cent, des résultats qui, selon Dulac, égalent ou surpassent les rapports précédents dans ce domaine.
