Jacques Villeneuve salue la chance d'Antonelli avant la course de Barcelone

L'ancien champion de Formule 1 Jacques Villeneuve a comparé le succès récent de Kimi Antonelli à celui de Michael Schumacher, tout en expliquant pourquoi George Russell dispose d'un avantage sur le circuit de Barcelone-Catalogne.

Villeneuve a déclaré qu'Antonelli bénéficie de la "chance des champions". Il a souligné que le pilote Mercedes de 19 ans a remporté cinq Grands Prix consécutifs en Chine, au Japon, à Miami, au Canada et à Monaco.

Antonelli est en tête du championnat des pilotes avec 66 points d'avance sur Lewis Hamilton, deuxième. George Russell occupe la troisième place, à deux points d'Hamilton.

Villeneuve a confié à Sky Sports F1 que le style de pilotage plus fluide de Russell convient mieux à la piste glissante de Barcelone que l'approche d'Antonelli. Russell a dominé la première et la troisième séance d'essais ce week-end.

Le Grand Prix de Barcelone-Catalogne doit débuter à 15h00, heure locale, le dimanche 14 juin.
