Stellantis construira un nouveau SUV électrique Opel à Saragosse et transférera l'usine de Madrid à Leapmotor

Stellantis et Leapmotor ont annoncé aujourd'hui l'expansion de leur alliance stratégique, incluant la production d'un nouveau modèle électrique Opel à l'usine de Figueruelas à Saragosse à partir de 2028.

Le groupe automobile Stellantis a confirmé vendredi ses projets pour les usines espagnoles. À Figueruelas, il produira le C-SUV Opel à batterie électrique sur une nouvelle ligne, qui viendra s'ajouter au modèle Leapmotor B10 prévu pour 2026 ainsi qu'aux Peugeot 208 et Lancia Ypsilon actuelles. Dans le même temps, l'usine de Villaverde à Madrid, qui fabrique actuellement la Citroën C4, recevra un nouveau véhicule Leapmotor à partir du premier semestre 2028. Stellantis étudie le transfert de propriété de cette installation à la filiale espagnole de sa coentreprise avec Leapmotor. Antonio Filosa, PDG de Stellantis, a déclaré que ce plan « est un véritable avantage pour les deux ». Zhu Jiangming, fondateur et PDG de Leapmotor, a souligné que les technologies de son entreprise combinées à la portée mondiale de Stellantis rendent ce partenariat « unique et puissant ».
