Nissan comunica un ERE para 211 trabajadores en Cataluña

Nissan ha informado a los sindicatos de su intención de aplicar un ERE a 211 empleados en sus centros catalanes, el 37 % de una plantilla de 596 personas. La medida afecta a tres instalaciones en el área de Barcelona.

El fabricante japonés detalló hoy el procedimiento durante una reunión con los representantes de SIGEN-USOC, CCOO y UGT en el despacho Garrigues. El ERE impactará en el centro de recambios de El Prat de Llobregat con 110 salidas, el centro técnico de la Zona Franca con 86 y el centro de áreas funcionales de El Prat con 15.

Los sindicatos rechazaron iniciar el periodo de consultas por defectos formales y anunciaron acciones y movilizaciones en los próximos días para mostrar su rechazo. Ambas partes se reunirán de nuevo el jueves en el Departamento de Trabajo de la Generalitat.

Esta decisión forma parte del plan global Re:Nissan, anunciado en mayo de 2025, que prevé recortar 20.000 empleos en el mundo y reducir las plantas de 17 a 10 para 2027. La semana pasada la compañía comunicó un recorte de 900 puestos en Europa.
