DFA kinuklaro limitadong saklaw ng MOU sa coast guard ng Pilipinas at China

Inaasahan niyang ma-finalize ito sa bilateral consultation mechanism (BCM) noong huling linggo ng Marso sa Quanzhou. Binanggit niya ang posibleng cooperation sa search and rescue, environmental protection, at trash collection.

Sumagot ang DFA sa pahayag nito, na nagbigay ng background: May umiiral nang MOU noong 2016 para sa Joint Coast Guard Committee for Maritime Cooperation.
