2일 코스피 지수가 삼성전자 주가 상승에 힘입어 8,801.49로 마감하며 사상 최고치를 기록했다.
코스피는 전 거래일 대비 13.11포인트(0.15%) 오른 8,801.49로 장을 마쳤다. 장중 최고 8,933.62까지 올랐으나 차익 실현 매물에 밀려 한때 3% 가까이 하락했다가 반등했다.
삼성전자는 3.3% 상승한 360,500원으로 사상 최고가를 경신했다. 반면 SK하이닉스는 0.13% 하락했고 현대자동차와 삼성전기 등 다른 대형주는 혼조세를 보였다.
외국인이 6조 5,900억 원을 순매도하는 가운데 개인과 기관이 각각 6조 3,400억 원과 2,422억 원을 순매수했다. 원/달러 환율은 13원 하락한 1,517.3원으로 마감했다.
